Azula by Cuthuluhoop

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis spellslinger deck uses Fire Lord Azula as a combat-triggered copy engine. You attack with Azula to add {R}{R} and copy every instant or sorcery you cast while she attacks, turning cheap cantrips and rituals into doubled value. The hidden engine is Thousand-Year Storm (backed by Prismari, the Inspiration) which multiplies copies further, while Storm-Kiln Artist turns each cast and copy into Treasure. Secondary wins come from magecraft drains (Guttersnipe, Professor Onyx, Vivi Ornitier) and big X finishers (Torment of Hailfire, Crackle with Power). Hullbreaker Horror plus Sol Ring provides an alternate infinite-mana loop when the main storm line is disrupted.
