Commander: Uugguu, the Omniplasm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Uugguu, the Omniplasm leads a Sultai shapeshifter/Ooze deck built around turning nontoken Ooze deaths into two nonlegendary 2/2 copies. The main engine is the "legend-rule loop": clone Uugguu with any of the deck's many copy creatures, let the clone die to the legend rule, and convert it into two more 2/2 Ooze tokens. Parallel Lives doubles that output, while Biovisionary offers an end-step copy-count win and Epic Struggle wins once the board crosses twenty creatures. The decisive "explosion" turns come from Mirrorform or Sakashima's Will mass-copying the commander. The huge clone shell also works as a flexible good-stuff pile that can copy opponents' threats, and independent Ooze engines like Biogenic Ooze and Aeve, Progenitor Ooze keep the plan moving even if the commander is answered.
