Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet spellslinger deck commanded by Bria, Riptide Rogue. The core game plan focuses on building a modest board of low-cost creatures and token generators such as Young Pyromancer, Third Path Iconoclast, and Stormcatch Mentor, then leveraging Bria's static ability to grant prowess and unblockable status across the entire army. By chaining cheap cantrips, rituals, and draw spells, the deck rapidly inflates its board power while bypassing opponent blockers entirely. In addition to combat damage, secondary burn engines like Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Vivi Ornitier convert spell casts into table-wide direct damage. High-efficiency card draw engines such as Archmage Emeritus, Lock and Load, and Enduring Curiosity keep the hand refilled during storm turns, while free protection spells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat safeguard the board against opposing removal.
