Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Treasure-token midrange deck helmed by Smaug, Wicked Worm. The plan floods the board with Treasures via dragons, rogues, and enchantments, then converts them into explosive mana, card advantage (via Smaug and Mastermind Plum), and incremental drain. Primary wins come from combat with hasty, Treasure-generating dragons backed by double-strike enablers, supported by sacrifice/ETB ping engines (Reckless Fireweaver, Mirkwood Bats, Mayhem Devil, Disciple of the Vault) and the alternate Hellkite Tyrant artifact-count win. Magda, Brazen Outlaw provides a powerful battlefield tutor for Dragons or artifacts once Treasures stockpile. The deck plays as a greedy value engine that turns opponents' artifacts into fuel and closes through attrition and oversized fliers rather than infinite combos.
