Deck overview

This is a Jeskai Equipment/Voltron deck built around one of the format's most unusual removal spells: Captain America, First Avenger's Throw. The plan is to load Captain America with high-mana-value Equipment - Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Kaldra Compleat, Argentum Armor, Batterskull - and convert their mana value directly into damage, split among one, two, or three targets. Catch gives one free re-attachment each combat, while Training Grounds, Puresteel Paladin, and Forge Anew turn Throw into a repeatable machine gun. A secondary combat plan chains extra combats with Genji Glove and Hexplate Wallbreaker, using Sword of Feast and Famine and The Reaver Cleaver to fuel more activations in the same turn. Dense Equipment tutors and historic-stapled card draw keep the deck moving, and Solphim, Mayhem Dominus doubles the noncombat damage for one-turn kill potential.
