Deck overview

This competitive Jund combo deck leverages Auntie Ool, Cursewretch as both a card advantage engine and a life-loss multiplier for -1/-1 counter synergies. The primary strategy races to assemble an infinite untap and counter loop using Devoted Druid and Quillspike. When combined with Obelisk Spider or Auntie Ool, this loop drains the entire table or draws the whole deck to assemble a deterministic same-turn win. Supported by format-ceiling fast mana, dense universal tutors, and Ad Nauseam, the deck presents consistent turn-3 win attempts while protecting its critical turns with Veil of Summer, Deflecting Swat, and Red Elemental Blast. If the game extends, asymmetric threats like Mayhem Devil, Orcish Bowmasters, and Living Plane punish opposing resources and stymie development.
