Deck overview

Yuriko, Blade of the Mighty commands a focused mono-white Equipment Voltron deck that converts single-creature attacks into overwhelming combat damage while denying opponents the ability to interact during combat. Yuriko provides an essential dual engine in the command zone: she shuts down all non-mana spells and activated abilities during combat, and she grants double strike to any creature attacking alone. The 99 is optimized to accelerate mana, cheat heavy equipment equip costs using Sigarda's Aid, Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, and Forge Anew, and stack lethal power with weapons like Colossus Hammer and Bloodforged Battle-Axe. Card velocity is sustained through combat triggers from Mask of Memory and cast triggers from Sram, Senior Edificer and Puresteel Paladin. While the deck efficiently eliminates opponents one by one starting around Turn 5, it remains vulnerable to precombat instant removal, mass exile board wipes, and edict effects that bypass Yuriko's combat-phase lockdown.
