Clive, Burning Vengeance by user4012547

Format: Commander

Commander: Clive, Ifrit's Dominant // Ifrit, Warden of Inferno

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Clive, Ifrit's Dominant is a mono-red devotion burn deck. The front face is the engine: his ETB discards a dead hand and draws a fresh hand equal to your devotion, while permanents like Solphim, Torbran, and Fiery Emancipation turn one point of burn into a lethal blast. The back face, Ifrit, is a mana/removal tool that can reset the front. The deck wins by chaining ETB pings from Impact Tremors, Purphoros, Molten Gatekeeper, and similar creatures through damage multipliers, or by using Chandra emblems and burn spells. Secondary lines use Neheb, Magda, and Nyx Lotus to make huge mana and repeat Pyrohemia activations. No hidden commander; Solphim is the most important lieutenant.
