Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Rakdos aristocrats and voltron burn strategy piloted by Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder. It rapidly establishes early mana acceleration and expendable token engines using cheap fodder like Shambling Ghast, Greedy Freebooter, and Bitterblossom. By Turn 4, Evereth enters the battlefield and starts consuming creatures and Treasure tokens, growing rapidly in power while gaining lifelink. On Turn 5, Evereth presents a massive flying threat capable of chunking opponents. The deck finishes games on Turn 6 by combining combat damage with burst fling effects, Chandra's Ignition, or Evereth's paid death trigger to deal damage equal to its power to all opponents simultaneously. Low-cost recursion instants like Feign Death and Not Dead After All turn opposing removal into catastrophic burn loops, while backup aristocrats like Mirkwood Bats, Mayhem Devil, and Juri, Master of the Revue ensure lethal inevitability even if the commander is removed.
