Deck overview

This mono-black deck is helmed by Ghoulcaller Gisa, focusing on high-synergy Zombie tribal swarm and aristocrat attrition. The primary strategy deploys efficient, high-power Zombie creatures early—such as Rotting Regisaur and Diregraf Colossus—to serve as prime sacrifice fodder for Gisa's token generation ability. Once Gisa untaps, she converts individual creatures into exponential 2/2 Zombie tokens, which are quickly pumped by static lords like Death Baron, Lord of the Accursed, and Undead Warchief. Damage is pushed both through wide, evasive combat attacks and direct drain triggers from Plague Belcher, Vengeful Dead, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. While the deck lacks fast-mana acceleration and dedicated combo tutors, its deep graveyard recursion suite ensures rapid rebuilding against board wipes, grinding out tables by Turn 8.
