Deck overview

Lorehold, the Historian leads a high-velocity Boros spellslinger deck centered on casting massive instant and sorcery bombs for their miracle cost of {2}. By leveraging Lorehold's ability to rummage on each opponent's upkeep, the deck converts the first card drawn on every player's turn into a potential miracle trigger. Synergy pieces like Library of Leng and Sensei's Divining Top provide precise topdeck control, ensuring that expensive game-enders like Storm Herd, Rise of the Eldrazi, and Soulfire Eruption are cast at instant speed for negligible mana. The deck accelerates into Lorehold on Turn 4 using efficient rocks and untapping artifacts like Victory Chimes and Bender's Waterskin, which provide continuous mana on opposing turns. A resilient suite of free and low-cost protection spells, including Deflecting Swat, Flawless Maneuver, and Teferi's Protection, shields Lorehold and the resulting armies, quickly overwhelming the table through massive flying tokens and damage multipliers.
