Deck overview

This mono-black Aristocrats deck utilizes Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER as both a card advantage engine and a lethal drain outlet from the command zone. The deck accelerates through early mana rocks and black rituals to establish recurring sacrifice engines like Warren Soultrader, Gravecrawler, and Forsaken Miner. It smoothly pivots between grinding out opponents through asymmetric attrition—using Grave Pact, Contamination, and Opposition Agent—and executing compact infinite drain combos. When ready, the deck closes the game by looping cheap recursive creatures through free sacrifice outlets, draining each opponent from 40 to 0 in a single turn. With dense unconditional tutoring and deep card draw from Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and Skullclamp, the deck achieves high operational consistency.
