Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is commanded by Amalia Benavides Aguirre and centers on high-density lifegain triggers to fuel rapid explore activations. By deploying early enablers such as Soul Warden, Authority of the Consuls, and Daxos, Blessed by the Sun, the deck consistently triggers explore multiple times per turn cycle. This engine smooths mana by drawing revealed lands, fills the graveyard, and rapidly inflates Amalia's power into a lethal Voltron threat while building toward a potential 20-power board wipe. Independent beatdown engines like Elenda, Saint of Dusk, Sunscorch Regent, and Ajani's Pridemate provide redundant pressure if the commander is removed. Reactive interaction and board protection spells such as Dawn's Truce, Flare of Fortitude, and Mortify shield the board and answer opposing threats. While the deck lacks fast combo finishes and competitive fast mana, its robust lifegain synergies and steady card selection create overwhelming board states that close out games through decisive combat damage.
