Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos reanimator combo-control list that pairs creature suppression with a compact graveyard finish. The primary win condition centers on Buried Alive searching for Necrotic Ooze, Asmodeus the Archfiend, and Skirge Familiar. Once Necrotic Ooze is returned to the battlefield with Reanimate or Animate Dead, it inherits Asmodeus's draw ability and Skirge Familiar's mana generation. Because Ooze gains only activated abilities, it bypasses Asmodeus's static exile clause, allowing you to draw your entire library, generate arbitrary black mana, and eliminate the table immediately with Exsanguinate. In the command zone, Judith, Carnage Connoisseur provides board control by giving cheap red damage spells like Electrickery and Fire Covenant deathtouch and lifelink, sweeping opposing creatures while buffering your life total. Backup plans include Bolas's Citadel storm lines, Razaketh, the Foulblooded tutoring loops, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel drains, ensuring resilient closing power.
