Deck overview

This Temur Dragon deck harnesses the power of Ureni of the Unwritten to cheat colossal flying threats into play. The early game focuses heavily on mana ramp and cost reducers like Farseek, Talisman of Creativity, and Dragonlord's Servant. By Turn 5, the deck reaches the seven mana required to cast Ureni. Ureni's enters-the-battlefield trigger looks eight cards deep to cheat massive Dragons like Atarka, World Render, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Scourge of the Throne directly onto the battlefield. Subsequent attack triggers pull additional Dragons from the library every turn, quickly overwhelming opposing aerial defenses. While the deck possesses explosive damage velocity and strong natural card flow, it lacks countermagic and defensive shielding spells, making it vulnerable to well-timed sweepers. Overall, the deck delivers an aggressive, highly focused battlecruiser experience that consistently threatens lethal combat damage across Turns 6 and 7.
