Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Azorius artifact synergy deck commanded by Mendicant Core, Guidelight. The game plan revolves around rapidly deploying cost reducers, artifact mana rocks, and continuous draw or token engines. It accelerates mana through powerful pieces like Tolarian Academy, Mox Opal, and Urza, Lord High Artificer, while using tutors like Whir of Invention and Fabricate to assemble interlocking value pieces. The deck wins by transforming its wide board of utility artifacts and tokens into an evasive lethal strike with Cyberdrive Awakener or overloaded Rise and Shine. Alternatively, it can establish an unbreakable lockout using Karn, the Great Creator and Mycosynth Lattice. Backed by top-tier reactive countermagic, one-sided mass bounce spells, and layered protective permanents like Bronze Guardian and Padeem, Consul of Innovation, the deck creates an overwhelming board presence that recovers effortlessly from opposing disruption.
