Serpent go brr ver 3 (copy) by phntmthf

Format: Commander

Commander: The Serpent Society

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Serpent Society leads a Golgari sacrifice deck that turns deathtouch creatures into death triggers, drain, and poison. The primary plan is to sacrifice deathtouch creatures to outlets like Viscera Seer, triggering Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat while the commander's death trigger forces opponents to sacrifice nontoken creatures. Meren of Clan Nel Toth and Cauldron of Essence recur the pieces. The secondary path is a poison clock with Fynn, the Fangbearer; the tertiary path is the Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus Dina, Soul Steeper infinite drain loop. The commander is a value engine and ward-poison deterrent, not the kill. Meren acts as a hidden recursion commander. The deck is built around The Serpent Society's single front face.
