Deck overview

This Naya ([RGW]) lands-and-counters deck is helmed by Toph, the First Metalbender, whose ability to turn nontoken artifacts into lands enables the "earthbend" mechanic to animate lands as huge, hasty creatures. The primary plan is to ramp, animate a land with +1/+1 counters, then chain extra combat steps via Moraug, Fury of Akoum and Bumi, Unleashed to overwhelm opponents with a single massive creature. The deck also leverages a +1/+1 counter subtheme with Hardened Scales, The Earth Crystal, and Solid Ground to amplify its land creatures. It wins through repeated combat damage, often in a single turn by playing multiple lands (via Dryad of the Ilysian Grove or Exploration Broodship) to trigger multiple landfalls and extra combats.
