Format: Commander

Commander: The Necrobloom

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Necrobloom is an Abzan landfall deck that turns land drops into a wide token army and uses the graveyard as a second hand. The primary plan is to play extra lands every turn, hit seven differently named lands, and let the commander create Zombies; Avenger of Zendikar, Rampaging Baloths, and Parallel Lives are the payoff layer. A secondary dredge path uses The Gitrog Monster as a hidden commander: Necrobloom gives land dredge 2, filling the graveyard for Aftermath Analyst to return every land at once. The commander also provides steady Plant tokens and repeatable dredge. The deck wins by a mass pump, token drain, or a landfall life-loss turn.
