Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir tempo-burn strategy commanded by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary game plan opens with cheap, evasive 1-mana creatures to enable a Turn 2 Commander Ninjutsu activation. Once Yuriko is in combat, every connecting Ninja triggers card draw and deals direct life loss to all opponents equal to the revealed card's mana value. The deck maximizes this damage output using topdeck manipulation spells like Brainstorm and Lim-Dûl's Vault to place massive spells such as Shadow of Mortality and The Cauldron of Eternity on top of the library. Because Commander Ninjutsu bypasses commander tax and standard creature countermagic, the deck maintains high tempo and rapid recovery through removal. As a secondary win condition, the deck runs the infinite mill and drain loop of Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank to close out games independently of combat damage.
