Edric by sleeth

Format: Commander

Commander: Edric, Spymaster of Trest

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Edric, Spymaster of Trest is a combat draw engine, not a combo piece. The deck swarms with cheap evasive and unblockable creatures, then turns every unblocked hit into extra cards. Bident of Thassa, Grazilaxx, and the secondary draw triggers double that velocity, while Tetsuko Umezawa makes most attackers impossible to block. Once the hand is full, mass-pump effects like Beastmaster Ascension, Biomass Mutation, and Preposterous Proportions turn the board lethal, usually on an extra turn from Notorious Throng, Walk the Aeons, or another time-walk effect. Edric herself remains the main draw engine; there is no hidden commander.
