Deck overview

This Boros deck executes a synergistic tribal strategy centered on Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The game plan establishes early Dwarf creatures and mana rocks before deploying Thorin on Turn 4. Every Dwarf entering the battlefield generates a Treasure token, which simultaneously accelerates mana and scales an anthem buff granting all other Dwarves +1/+0 per artifact token. On Turn 5, follow-up Dwarves and token producers widen the board into a must-answer combat threat. The deck converts this board into a table elimination across Turns 6 and 7 using asymmetric board clearers like Winds of Abandon and pump effects like Unbreakable Formation. Robust single-target removal (Swords to Plowshares, Dispatch) and legendary creature tutors ensure smooth execution, while Equipment and historic synergies provide resilience against board disruption.
