Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Discard Control deck led by Nicol Bolas, the Ravager. The primary strategy focuses on early hand disruption, mana acceleration, and value engines to systematically starve opponents of resources. Cards like Waste Not, Oppression, and Geth's Grimoire turn symmetric and asymmetric discard into massive mana and card advantages. Once the table's hands are depleted around turns 4 to 5, the deck transitions into its onset phase on turn 6 by transforming Bolas into Nicol Bolas, the Arisen or resolving powerful planeswalkers like Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God. The deck closes games around turn 8 using massive finishers like Torment of Hailfire, graveyard theft via Rise of the Dark Realms and Breach the Multiverse, or planeswalker ultimate abilities.
