Deck overview

This deck is a Bant Midrange Stompy strategy commanded by Helga, Skittish Seer. The game plan revolves around accelerating in the opening turns, deploying Helga on Turn 3, and continuously casting impactful creatures with mana value 4 or greater starting on Turn 4. Each large creature cast triggers Helga to draw a card, gain life, and grow in power, which in turn fuels her tap ability to generate massive amounts of mana for subsequent turns. By Turn 5, the deck leverages this mana acceleration to flood the battlefield with overwhelming trampling threats such as Ghalta and Mavren, Armada Wurm, and Conclave Sledge-Captain. The deck protects its board state with cards like Selfless Spirit and Divine Resilience while using efficient removal and counterspells to disrupt opposing game plans. It ultimately secures victory through decisive combat damage across two consecutive attack steps on Turns 6 and 7.
