Deck overview

This Sultai deck leverages Thranduil, the Elvenking as a versatile combo engine and card advantage engine. Thranduil inherits all activated abilities of Elf cards in your graveyard, turning entomb effects into direct combo assembly. The primary win condition uses Buried Alive or Gifts Ungiven to place Devoted Druid and Greenhilt Trainee into the graveyard. Because Thranduil has 5 base power, he can tap to give himself +4/+4 via Greenhilt Trainee and untap by placing a -1/-1 counter on himself via Devoted Druid. Repeating this loop generates infinite power, infinite toughness, and infinite green mana. The deck finishes on the same turn by animating lands with haste through Llanowar Loamspeaker or draining life totals with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. If the commander is unavailable, the deck transitions into a traditional Elfball go-wide strategy with Lathril, Blade of the Elves, Elvish Warmaster, and Priest of Titania.
