Burning Visions by Sonderson

Format: Commander

Commander: Niv-Mizzet, Visionary

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

An Izzet spellslinger deck that converts noncombat damage into card draw and then into an infinite pinging loop. Niv-Mizzet, Visionary is the engine rather than the finisher: every one-damage trigger from burn spells, Guttersnipe effects, and Urabrask draws cards, letting the deck chain cheap cantrips and rituals into its real win condition. The primary kill is Niv-Mizzet, Parun enchanted with Curiosity, which produces infinite damage and draw whenever any instant or sorcery is cast; a secondary Underworld Breach brainstorm line exists as backup. With 35 lands, dense tutoring, and strong interaction, the deck aims to establish a draw engine by turn 4-5 and win the following turn.
