Commander: Rootha, Mastering the Moment

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Izzet spellslinger/token deck built to cast multiple instants and sorceries each turn, converting them into flying Elemental tokens through Rootha, Mastering the Moment. The primary plan is a midrange combat finish: generate treasure and card advantage from magecraft payoffs, then copy spells and creatures with Rionya, Fire Dancer, Rootha, Mercurial Artist, and Chandra to turn a wide board into a lethal attack. Secondary paths include closing with Brudiclad turning every token into a copy of the biggest token, or Surge to Victory to chain copied spells. A second Rootha in the 99 acts as a backup copy engine, but the deck is fair and rebuilds after wipes rather than assembling an infinite combo.
