Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai aggressive midrange strategy centered on Optimus Prime, Hero. It combines fast artifact acceleration, +1/+1 counter distribution, and scaling artifact creatures to overwhelm opponents through combat. In the early game, cheap mana rocks and cost reducers accelerate the deployment of key token generators like Simulacrum Synthesizer and utility creatures like Steel Overseer. Once Optimus Prime enters on Turn 4, its bolster ability rapidly enlarges the team and grants trample. Evasion enablers such as Herald of Secret Streams, Abzan Falconer, and Cyberdrive Awakener ensure that large ground threats bypass blockers to eliminate players sequentially between Turns 6 and 8. The deck features strong resilience against single-target removal and board wipes through commander self-recursion, static hexproof from Leonin Abunas and Padeem, Consul of Innovation, and graveyard mass recursion via Wake the Past.
