Deck overview

This five-color deck helmed by General Tazri merges an Ally tribal shell with an Aikido damage-redirection suite and high-impact late-game sorceries. The primary game plan uses early ramp and changelings to establish a board before deploying Tazri on Turn 5 to fetch a crucial toolbox Ally like Sea Gate Loremaster or Smellerbee, Rebel Fighter. On Turn 7, the deck initiates critical pressure by activating Tazri's five-color pump ability or resolving a game-ending finisher like Overwhelming Stampede or Insurrection, eliminating opponents sequentially over three combat turns. While the deck boasts an entertaining suite of defensive rattlesnakes such as Brash Taunter, Deflecting Palm, and Inkshield, its primary vulnerability stems from prolonged board exposure across multiple opponent turn cycles. Lacking dedicated creature protection spells like Heroic Intervention or Teferi's Protection, the deck relies heavily on opponents exhausting removal against each other or misjudging reactive combat traps.
