Bad Christmas by Jacobycoleman

Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis deck uses Kefka, Court Mage to force discards and draw cards, then gives opponents permanents that hurt them. The front face (5 mana 4/5) makes each player discard on entry or attack and draws for each card type discarded, fueling threshold and discard payoffs. The back face (5/7 flying) draws cards when opponents lose life on your turn, but the deck is built for the front face and rarely pays 8 to transform. Blim, Comedic Genius and Jon Irenicus, Shattered One act as hidden commanders, donating drawbacks like Goldnight Castigator, Cinder Giant, and Plague Reaver while goad effects force opponents to attack each other. Wins come from incremental drain, stolen permanents, and late mass reanimation, not infinite combos.
