Deck overview

Hinata, Dawn-Crowned is the cost-reduction engine at the center of a spellslinger deck. Every targeted instant or sorcery is cheaper, so the deck strings together cantrips, bounce, counters, and X-cost burn such as Meteor Blast and Jaya's Immolating Inferno, which can hit all three opponents at wildly reduced prices. Secondary paths are token generation from Talrand, Young Pyromancer, and Murmuring Mystic, plus chip damage from Guttersnipe and Thermo-Alchemist. Hinata also taxes opponents' targeted spells, giving the deck a stax-like edge. There is no hidden second commander; the build is engineered around casting Hinata, then using her reduction on as many targets as possible.
