Deck overview

Alela, Cunning Conqueror leads a Dimir flash-Faerie control deck that converts every instant-speed spell into flying tokens and goad triggers. The primary plan is to hold up mana on opponents' turns, use cheap instants/flash Faeries to trigger Alela and draw with Wavebreak Hippocamp/Nymris, then finish with a swarm of evasive Faeries boosted by tribal anthems. Bitterblossom and Obyra provide extra token and drain pressure, while a dense countermagic suite protects the board and slows opponents. Oona, Queen of the Fae acts as a hidden commander and alternate mana sink, with Bolas's Citadel rounding out the late game; the deck is essentially a tempo-control build that wins through combat rather than combo.
