HOME! RIDING HOME! DYING HOPE! by Psychosisity

Format: Commander

Commander: Ardbert, Warrior of Darkness

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Orzhov (W/B) legendary tribal deck helmed by Ardbert, Warrior of Darkness, whose white- and black-spell triggers distribute +1/+1 counters and grant vigilance or menace to all your legends. The core plan is to deploy a dense suite of legendary creatures and artifacts, pump them with counters from Ardbert and pieces like Feast of the Victorious Dead or Mikaeus, the Lunarch, then win through incremental combat damage, recursion loops, or the occasional blowout from Rise of the Dark Realms or Summon: Primal Odin's one-shot kill. The deck also packs a modest recursion engine (Sun Titan, Liesa, Forgotten Archangel, General Leo Cristophe) and a handful of board wipes to stabilise. It plays a midrange value-control game, aiming to out-grind opponents rather than combo off quickly.
