Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Grixis spellslinger strategy helmed by Fire Lord Azula. Azula turns combat into an explosive spellcasting phase by producing two free red mana via Firebending 2 and duplicating every spell cast while she is attacking. The deck leverages this ability by casting instant-speed rituals, draw spells, and removal during the declare attackers step, effectively doubling their throughput. Backed by magecraft engines like Storm-Kiln Artist, Archmage Emeritus, and Veyran, Voice of Duality, the deck converts duplicated spells into overwhelming mana and card advantage. It transitions smoothly into graveyard-fuelled storm turns using Underworld Breach and Past in Flames, or loops Reiterate with rituals to produce infinite mana. Games close decisively on Turn 5 through multi-target finishers like Crackle with Power, Comet Storm, or Tendrils of Agony, while a lean suite of countermagic and bounce spells defends the combo turn.
