Deck overview

This is a Selesnya token-populate deck helmed by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, built around exponential token generation and life-gain payoffs. The primary game plan is to deploy one or more token doublers (Anointed Procession, Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation, Elspeth, Storm Slayer, Exalted Sunborn), then create a critical mass of creature tokens through populate spells, token producers, and Trostani's own populate ability. The life gained from Trostani's ETB trigger fuels alternate win conditions like Aetherflux Reservoir, Felidar Sovereign, and Test of Endurance. Combat finishers include Craterhoof Behemoth, Akroma's Will, and Finale of Devastation for an overrun effect. The deck is highly synergistic, with redundancy in both token multiplication and life gain, and a robust protection suite to shield its board from wipes.
