Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck uses Veyran, Voice of Duality to double all magecraft and spellcasting triggers across the battlefield. The game plan focuses on casting cheap cantrips and rituals to rapidly generate enormous mana advantage, massive token boards, and overwhelming burn. Win conditions rely on compounding triggers from Storm-Kiln Artist and Thousand-Year Storm, exponential board generation via Stormsplitter and Talrand, Sky Summoner, direct burn through Guttersnipe and Niv-Mizzet, Parun, or an alpha strike enabled by Surge to Victory. By chaining spells together in explosive turns, the deck overpowers opponents with immense value and damage.
