Deck overview

This is a high-octane mono-black combo deck built around K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, converting life into a second resource to fuel explosive mana and storm turns. The primary plan is to generate infinite mana-typically via Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar + a zombie-and then drain the table with Exsanguinate, Tendrils of Agony, or Aetherflux Reservoir. A secondary line uses Peer into the Abyss with Bloodletter of Aclazotz to one-shot an opponent, while Bolas's Citadel + Necropotence + Aetherflux Reservoir provides a top-deck engine that can chain into a win. The deck is packed with premium tutors (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Razaketh, the Foulblooded) and a robust reanimation suite (Reanimate, Animate Dead, Chainer, Dementia Master) to ensure it consistently finds its pieces.
