Deck overview

This deck is a specialized Boros combo strategy built around damage-reflection creatures and equipment. Its primary win condition is an infinite damage loop between Brash Taunter and Blazing Sunsteel. Because Kellan, the Fae-Blooded features an Adventure that tutors an Equipment directly from the command zone, the deck possesses guaranteed access to its key combo piece. Dense fast mana acceleration—including Chrome Mox, Mana Vault, and Sol Ring—allows the deck to navigate the hefty mana requirements of deploying Taunter and paying the equip cost by Turn 5. Once equipped, any damage dealt to Taunter reflects into Sunsteel, which repeatedly targets Taunter to eliminate all three opponents in a single turn. The deck secures its win turns with an array of Silence effects and inexpensive protection spells, while stax pieces like Blood Moon and Drannith Magistrate slow down faster opposing strategies.
