Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir battlecruiser strategy helmed by Marvo, Deep Operative. It focuses on manipulating the top of the library to consistently win clash triggers when Marvo attacks, enabling free casts of spells with mana value 8 or less directly from hand. The list runs extensive topdeck manipulation tools such as Sensei's Divining Top, Scroll Rack, Brainstorm, and Diabolic Vision to ensure that high-cost payoffs sit on top of the library for clashes while other massive spells are ready in hand. Once operational on turn 5, Marvo cheats in format-warping threats like One with the Multiverse, Aminatou's Augury, Breach the Multiverse, Hullbreaker Horror, and Archon of Cruelty. Tribe-specific asymmetric board wipes including Whelming Wave and Summon: Leviathan clear opposing boards while keeping Marvo and giant sea monsters intact to finish opponents via lethal combat damage around turn 7.
