Format: Commander

Commander: Uugguu, the Omniplasm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ugguug, the Omniplasm is a sacrifice-value commander rather than a combo piece. It turns any nontoken Ooze death into two 2/2 token copies, fueling bodies, Skullclamp draws, sacrifice synergies, and Craterhoof/Triumph overruns. The most reliable win is the Gravecrawler loop: Carrion Feeder or another Zombie-type enabler plus Phyrexian Altar plus Gravecrawler drains with Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Syr Konrad. Pitiless Plunderer turns the same loop into infinite Treasure for Torment of Hailfire. Prime Speaker Vannifar is the second engine and best tutor, since a sacrificed Ooze can both flicker into token copies and chain Vannifar activations. There is no hidden commander and no double-faced commander; the deck is built around Ugguug's duplicate engine, not around any single combo in the command zone.
