Deck overview

This Mardu Reanimator deck helmed by Kroxa and Kunoros combines explosive graveyard combo finishes with suffocating attrition engines. The deck accelerates game-ending threats into the graveyard using efficient enablers such as Entomb, Buried Alive, and Unmarked Grave, then cheats them into play as early as Turn 4 with low-cost reanimation spells like Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Dance of the Dead. Its primary win condition executes a deterministic loop with Worldgorger Dragon and Animate Dead, generating infinite mana to flicker game-ending permanents, cast its commander infinitely, or mill the table with Altar of Dementia. When combo routes are contested, the deck seamlessly transitions into an oppressive midrange beatdown plan by recurring Archon of Cruelty, Sheoldred, Whispering One, and Ashen Rider. With redundant reanimation spells, high-yield card draw from Vilis, Broker of Blood, and command zone reanimation, the deck possesses formidable resilience against disruption.
