[Jund] Hearthhull v2 by user3010015

Format: Commander

Commander: Hearthhull, the Worldseed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jund lands-matter deck is helmed by Hearthhull, the Worldseed, a versatile commander that rewards sacrificing lands with card draw and a passive life-drain. The strategy revolves around ramping heavily, playing multiple lands per turn, and then sacrificing them for value through effects like Zuran Orb, Braids, Arisen Nightmare, and the commander's own activated ability. Land recursion from Life from the Loam, Ramunap Excavator, Aftermath Analyst, and Splendid Reclamation ensures the engine keeps running. Primary win conditions are incremental life loss via Valakut Exploration, Ob Nixilis, the Fallen, Tannuk, Memorial Ensign, and the commander's passive, with occasional beats from a transformed Hearthhull, the Worldseed (flying, vigilance, haste). The deck is a slow, grindy value engine that aims to out-card and out-drain the table.
