Food and Fellowship Precon - Upgrade by CaptJHaab

Format: Commander

Commander: Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit and Sam, Loyal Attendant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Abzan Food/lifegain midrange deck built around the partnership of Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit and Sam, Loyal Attendant. Sam creates a free Food each combat and discounts Food activations, while Frodo converts a lifegain turn into Ring temptations and eventual card draw. The 99 is a dense Food-token engine: Peregrin Took, Rosie Cotton of South Lane, Bilbo, Fellow Conspirator, Treebeard, Gracious Host, and Farmer Cotton turn incidental life gain into cards, counters, tokens, and mana. The primary path to victory is a massive combat step fueled by Feasting Hobbit, Banquet Guests, and Pippin, Warden of Isengard, with Sanguine Bond, Mirkwood Bats, and Gollum, Obsessed Stalker providing the drain backup. Frodo, Sauron's Bane offers an alternate ring-based elimination. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through redundancy, value, and grinding.
