Birb by AnnoyedOrange

Format: Commander

Commander: Gwaihir, Greatest of the Eagles

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-white lifegain and Bird-token deck built around Gwaihir, Greatest of the Eagles. Gwaihir attacks alongside a lifelink enabler to cross the three-life threshold and produce a 3/3 Bird each end step, while Anointed Procession and Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation // Temple of Civilization turn those Birds into a genuine swarm. Card flow is conditional and political: Trouble in Pairs, Smuggler's Share, Mangara, the Diplomat, Dawn of a New Age, and Exemplar of Light convert opponents' actions or your own life gain into cards. The deck can close games through Aetherflux Reservoir, a two-cast Approach of the Second Sun, or an infinite Walking Ballista loop with Heliod, Sun-Crowned or The Destined White Mage. There are no tutors in the list, so it grinds out advantage and then wins through whichever payoff it naturally draws.
