Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos turbo-combo/storm deck that wants to weaponize fast mana and tutors into a same-turn kill. The primary plan is to assemble Underworld Breach + Lion's Eye Diamond + Grinding Station + Aetherflux Reservoir, or to win through the Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame loop. The commander, Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, is a secondary value engine: the front face makes Wizard tokens that ping on noncreature spells, and the back face doubles all Wizard damage once the deck controls four Wizards. With Harmonic Prodigy, Roaming Throne, Coruscation Mage, and Vivi's Persistence, those pings become a real drain line. Kuja is convenient, not required; the deck retains most of its speed and power if he is never cast.
