Commander: Blech, Loafing Pest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Blech, Loafing Pest is the build-around engine: every life-gain event puts +1/+1 counters on all Pests, Bats, Insects, Snakes, and Spiders. The primary plan is to make a wide board of cheap Pest/Snake/Spider tokens, trigger life gains through small creatures and drains, and then convert that board into a fast kill with Triumph of the Hordes or Root Manipulation. Secondary paths use drain effects (Starscape Cleric, Defiling Daemogoth, Tenured Inkcaster, Rottenmouth Viper) and recursion via Cauldron of Essence, Whip of Erebos, and Shelob. There is no true hidden commander; supporting legendary creatures like Moseo and Beledros speed up the engine but do not replace it.
