Deck overview

This mono-black deck leverages Ghoulcaller Gisa as a token multiplier and sacrifice engine. The primary plan establishes early Zombie fodder and mana acceleration to cast Gisa on Turn 4 or 5. Once active, Gisa sacrifices high-power creatures such as Rotting Regisaur, Grave Titan, or recursive Zombies to generate massive waves of 2/2 Zombie tokens. The deck turns this token swarm into a decisive clock using tribal lords like Undead Warchief and Death Baron, explosive anthems like Coat of Arms, and life-drain engines including Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Shepherd of Rot. Big mana lands like Cabal Coffers and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx ensure late-game resilience and easy commander recasts. The deck struggles with noncreature permanents and exile-based board wipes due to mono-black color restrictions, but offers high tribal redundancy, strong recursive card advantage, and lethal combat pressure.
