Deck overview

This Grixis deck is built around Norman Osborn // Green Goblin, focusing on Villain creature typal synergies, connive looting, and graveyard casting. Early turns focus on casting unblockable Norman Osborn to filter draws and fuel the graveyard. On Turn 4, transforming into Green Goblin unlocks a {2} generic mana discount on spells cast from the graveyard and grants mayhem to all discarded nonland cards. The deck leverages this cost reduction to rapidly deploy high-impact Villains such as The Squadron Sinister, Doctor Octopus, Master Planner, and Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon. Victory is achieved through wide, evasive combat damage augmented by +1/+1 counters and mass recursion spells like Bloodline Bidding. While resilient to natural discard thanks to its commander's mayhem ability, the deck has limited dedicated stack interaction and protection spells, making it susceptible to well-timed board wipes and targeted graveyard hate.
