The Wickerman Hive by Djerid

Format: Commander

Commander: The Swarmweaver

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a self-mill token gauntlet helmed by The Swarmweaver, a BG artifact creature that creates two flying Insect tokens on ETB and grants deathtouch to Insects and Spiders once you achieve delirium (four card types in graveyard). The deck fills its graveyard aggressively, then elevates its insect/swarm tokens with lord effects, deathtouch, and anthems while recursing key pieces. The primary win condition is mass combat damage through a wide board of deathtouch flyers, often accelerated by Beastmaster Ascension or Fynn, the Fangbearer's poison auras. A graveyard recursion package provides formidable resilience, with pseudo-haste via Victimize and Blasted Reclamation to rebuild after wipes. The command zone accelerates the insect count and provides a persistent static buff, making the whole game plan hinge on maintaining a full graveyard. ---
