Format: Commander

Commander: Thrasios, Triton Hero and Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Bant "legendary permanents matter" midrange value deck, not a combo deck. Thrasios, Triton Hero is the command-zone engine: a cheap, repeatable mana sink that scries, ramps out lands, and draws. Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful is the early beater, growing every time another legend lands. The 99 is a dense pile of legendary value creatures - Edric, Spymaster of Trest, Chulane, Teller of Tales, Loran of the Third Path, Falco Spara, Pactweaver, and Alistair, the Brigadier - that produce cards, tokens, removal, and tempo. The actual finish is an alpha strike: Katara, Water Tribe's Hope sets every creature's base power and toughness, War of the Last Alliance tutors two legends and then grants double strike, and Heroes' Podium turns the legend count into raw stats. There are no compact infinite combos; the deck wins by overwhelming combat after out-drawing opponents.
